The editors of FOCUS MONEY conducted national testing among 95,000 tax experts. Sonntag & Partner was included multiple times (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016) as one of the leading large tax consulting firms in Germany. Last published in the 20/2019 edition with information on qualifications, specialization and professional expertise.

Each year the azur editors conduct research on the most attractive employers for young lawyers. Evaluated from four individual factors — new hires, satisfaction, salary and image — Sonntag & Partner has reason to be delighted about this award.
The nomination was made based on the combination of local ties with international tax planning. The international tax law segment was expanded and exciting niches found, as in the area of spin-offs in association law.
Nominations in this category went to tax law practices that attract attention in the marketplace through their exceptional performance. The reason for the nomination can vary: a personal accomplishment or a team effort, particularly interesting assignments,or strategically foresighted decisions. The development of the practice is more important than size or reputation. The JUVE Award goes both to young and emerging, promising entities, and also long-standing, established actors that have experienced a particuarly positive development over the course of the last twelve months.

In the context of the 2016 LTO Young Professional Survey, the online magazine Legal Tribune for the second time surveyed young lawyers on the subjects of their preferred employer, salary requirements and criteria for selecting an employer. A total of 5,439 legal interns, law students and graduates took part in the survey. Kapellmann was awarded a seal as one of the most frequently mentioned preferred employers among mid-size law firms.
The award in the category “Law Firm of the Year for Mid-size Businesses” went to Sonntag & Partner. The award was conferred to the law firm in the course of a formal award ceremony in the Frankfurt Old Opera.
